Playing career Todd Fedoruk spent his first seven professional seasons inside the Philadelphia Flyers organization after being drafted 164th overall through the Flyers in 1997 He earned his NHL debut in the 200001 season and took part in 220 games over four seasons with all the club recording at least 100 penalty minutes in each season He messed around with the Philadelphia Phantoms during the 200405 NHL lockout and taken part in that team s run to the Calder Cup championship Shortly after the lockout ended Fedoruk was traded to the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim for just a 2005 second round draft pick Pierre Olivier Pelletier on July 29 2005 The 200506 season saw Fedoruk post career highs in games played 76 assists 19 points 23 and penalty minutes 174 being a person in the Ducks The Flyers re acquired Fedoruk on November 13 2006 for a fourth round draft pick Fedoruk that's known for his skills as being a definite enforcer had titanium plates permanently embedded into his face necessary repairs injuries caused to him from a fight with Minnesota Wild enforcer Derek Boogaard while in the 200607 NHL season Later around the season on March 21 2007 Fedoruk once was again injured in a fight Big apple Rangers enforcer Colton Orr Fedoruk was knocked out unconscious and had to be carried there are various ice at a stretcher On July 9 2007 Fedoruk signed a one year contract using the Dallas Stars In at start of 2007 08 season Todd struggled to help make the lineup and played a very handful of games before he was demoted to affiliate the Iowa Stars on the AHL on November 20 2007 Before playing a personal game with Iowa Fedoruk was claimed off waivers from the Minnesota Wild on November 22 2007 Fedoruk played out of season aided by the Wild and scored his first career playoff goal over the Wild s first round defeat in the Colorado Avalanche Fedoruk signed a three year contract while using the Phoenix Coyotes on July 1 2008 Inside the 2008 09 season Todd took part in 72 games while using Coyotes scoring 13 points On July 21 2009 Fedoruk was traded through the Coyotes and also David Hale on the Tampa Bay Lightning for Radim Vrbata Facial injuries On November 11 2003 Fedoruk was needed for a scrap with former Big apple Islanders Defenseman Eric Cairns Fedoruk was deemed to own had better in the exchange at that time but main points not apparent at the time is this a right from Cairns had broken Fedoruk s orbital bone Fedoruk under went surgery and was back on the ice never to long after On October 24 2006 while Fedoruk was fidgeting with the Anaheim Ducks he asked current Minnesota Wild enforcer Derek Boogaard to your fight which become by far the most controversial fights to take place inside the NHL Boogaard landed a brutal punch on Fedoruk that knocked him with the ice and shattered his cheek bone Fedoruk left the ice directly adopting the fight in visible distress and wouldn t get back to play A lot of his team mates were concerned the moment and rightly so Fedoruk under went serious surgery to reconstruct the medial side of his face Fedoruk was traded from Anaheim to his former club the Philadelphia Flyers his club ahead of NHL lockout within 2004 05 season which saw Fedoruk playing AHL hockey While along the Flyers Fedoruk was interested in another scrap this occassion with San francisco Rangers enforcer Colton Orr You could potentially fight Fedoruk was knocked down due to a wild from Orr He lay to the ice incapable of move for around four minutes before being stretchered but Fedoruk sustained no additional serious injuries using
